Silicon carbide wheels

A synthetic grain produced by mixing silica with coke (Carbon). Very hard and brittle grain, temperature sensitive, quickly dulls on most ferrous metals and their alloys.

Silicon Carbide abrasive grinding wheels (SIC) are suitable for grinding marble, stone, glass, building materials, hard composites, plastics, ductile metals (aluminum, copper, brass, zinc). The silicon carbide grain provides excellent performance and high cutting speed, as well as good finishing results with low wheel pressure.
